Who is this guy?
Ron Sylvester, a magician in Hutchinson, Kansas, proves his shows aren’t just for kids! He combines illusions and comedy to enhance any event. Ron has entertained adults on stages across central Kansas including Wichita’s Looney Bin comedy club. He has sacrificed appendages to find chosen cards. Some may leave believing money does grow on trees. He’s the only magician claiming to performing the worst trick ever -– a feat leaving audiences howling with approval.
Ron’s experience with lead roles in community theaters means he knows how to entertain private groups and even grab attention at regional street fairs and farmers’ markets. He is proud to have performed for the Organization of Independent Filmmakers and for the Wesley E. Brown Inn of Court professional legal association.
Dad Magic has studied with the prestigious Jeff McBride Magic and Mystery School and is a constant student in master classes taught by the world’s leading magicians. He’s a Lifetime Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians where he serves as Associate Editor of The Linking Ring, the trade organization’s 102-year-old magazine. He also is president of the organization’s local chapter, “The Wizards of Wichita,” founded in 1946.
